The Alternative Learning Program Primary School for Elementary Ages
The Alternative Learning Program (ALP) Primary School services students in grades K through 6. Located in Cranston, the ALP Primary School provides academic rigor along with individualized social/emotional supports within a highly structured educational and therapeutic setting.
All staff are trained in crisis intervention programming and brain-based therapeutic interventions to support the unique needs of our students.

How we meet emotional needs
Our K-6 Primary School works with students and families to meet each individual’s needs by:
- Providing safety, stability, and structure
- Teaching responsibility for actions
- Building self-esteem
- Providing individual and group social and emotional learning
